About EFC
Church History
Ebenezer Family Church came into existence in the year 1982, just before the Easter period, after the arrival of a mass tent of Christ for All Nations. It was initially called (Rhema Zululand). The church started by Pastor Trinity Mthiyane with a group of 5. "We would move from classrooms depending on the availability of the school caretaker for a place of worship." This took a period of two months before the church was granted a class. In the year 1989, the Church adopted the name Ebenezer Family Church (EFC) and in 1990 Pastor Linda Mthiyane was ordained as a senior Pastor of this ministry.
Church Growth
The ministry continued to grow both spiritually and numerically. It has spread it's wings to Durban, Gauteng, Richard's Bay, New Castle and internationally to Zambia. These are all satellite churches under the ministry. It has also started two vibrant Home Cells in Empangeni and Ngwelezane which will be satellites of their own in future.
