Senior Pastor

Pastor Linda Mthiyane was born in 1955 in the village of Mtubatuba North of Empangeni in the Mkhwanazi Tribal land in Kwazulu Natal. He grew up in religious background, his father was a Zionist minister. He started his lower primary school in the year 1964 when he was nine (9 years old). His parents were able to take him up to standard 9 since both of them did not have permanent jobs and they had nine other children to take care of. One day his father asked everyone about their careers.

Initially pastor Mthiyane wanted to be a lawyer or a preacher of Gospel but in both choices his father discouraged him and he then later decided to be a doctor. In 1976 he started drifting away from the lord and from church as well. In 1978 he got a friend who started to invite to church. He committed his life to the Lord in the year 1979 and the next day he was already sharing his testimony. Though there was a great opposition in his family but he continued. He grew up spiritually in Esikhawini AFM church.

In 1982 he left work to study the word full time in Rhema Bible Training centre. That when he stated to help his younger brother to establish a ministry which is now called EFC. He got married in 1986 on the 1st of March to his wife, First Lady Puleng and God has blessed them with two daughters and a son. In 1990 he became the senior pastor of EFC.
